In May 1914 it was reported that the Banco Nacional de México would soon be putting 50c notes into circulationEl Observador, Guanajuato, Año X, Núm. 850, 10 May 1914.

These were never issued.

These $1 notes were withdrawn following the Ley General of 1897.

Then in 1913 after Huerta relaxed the regulations the bank again issued $1 notes.
