The Banco Minero
The Terrazas' main financial institution, the Banco Minero, dominated the Chihuahuan economy at the turn of the century and was one of the major banks of Mexico. However, the first Banco Minero Chihuahuense was set up by an anti-Terrazas faction. When this failed, it was taken over by the Creel-Terrazas family. The bank grew to be the largest financial institution in the north of Mexico, but failed to survive the revolution.
