By the end of 1899 the bank had been authorised to issue $750.00^{Memoria de las Instituciones de Credito, 1897-1899}.

On 14 September 1909 the bank asked the Secretaría de Hacienda for permission to issue a further $350,000. This was granted on 28 September and formal authorisation given on 16 October^{Memoria de las Instituciones de Crédito, 1909}.
