Notes in circulation
The first issue totalled $1,100,000 ($11,500 of which had been amortised by 30 June 1898). The second issue totalled $550,000 in the second half of 1897, and $450,00 in January 1898. The third issue, comprised of $190,000 in April 1898, $330,000 in May 1898 and 180,000 in June 1898, totalled $700,000. The remaining $50,000 in $50 notes were put into circulation on 5 July 1989informe of Interventor, M. Sánchez T, 26 July 1898 in Memoria de las Instituciones de Crédito, 1898. These obviously equate to the ABNC print runs (the first four totalled $1.000,000, $100,000, $1,000,000 and $1,750,000) and so give us certain termini.
Up to 31 December 1899 the bank had issued $6,077,000 in notes.
