Notes dated 15 July 1916 and valid until 30 November, in infalsificables.
Compañía de Fletes y García / Compañía Enrique Fletes
Although all these notes are dated to 25 August 1916 it appears that there was an original series from the Compañía de Fletes y García, some of which were annotated 'buena con infalsificable / Enrique Fletes' on the reverse. These were followed by a series entitled 'Compañía Enrique Fletes' and stated to be in 'Papel infalsificable' on the face.

These notes are dated 1 September 1915 and on the reverse they state that they are a temporary measure (emisión transitoria) solely to facilitate making change and are of forced circulation according to an agreement[text needed] authorised by Manuel M. Diéguez. They have provision for the signature of an Interventor as well as a Presidente and Secretario: the appointment of an Interventor again confirms their quasi-official status and is probably the result of a clause in Diéguez' accord. As such, these notes are similar to the contemporaneous Comisión de Agricola issue from San Pedro, Coahuila.
Some, though not issued, are needlepunched "B C".

José Maqueo C.
Note that the legend 'EN PAPEL MONEDA DE CIRCULACION FORZOSA' does not mean that this note was of forced circulation, but that it was redeemable in notes/currency of forced circulation. The initials on the reverse are probably of José Maqueo Castellanos.
[if same person] In 19[ ] he was the presidente municipal of Autlán. In May 1920 Maqueo, designated a General, was the representative of Pedro Zamora, when he supported the Plan de Agua Prieta against Carranza. Maqueo went from Autlán to Guadalajara to meet with the military authorities of the state to ask for Zamora to be designated Jefe de Operaciones in Juchitlán, Unión de Tula and Autlán, and then went on Mexico City to talk with generals Obregón and Pablo GonzálezEl Informador, Año III, Tomo X, Núm. 957, 23 May 1920. Maqueo tried in vain to discourage Pedro Zamora from taking up armsEl Informador, 7 February 1982 and then disowned him (and was even suspected of being involved in the latter’s later murder in Mexico City). In September 1920 he was accepted as a federal deputyEl Informador, 12 September 1920. On 1 February 1923 he was reinstated into the national army as a General BrigadierEl Informador, 31 January 1923 and in May 1927 he was appointed as a pro-Obregón President of the national CongressEl Informador, Año X, Tomo XXXV, Núm, 3468, 24 May 1927. |
