$1 dos caritas - unknown printer
Although there was correspondence that in the fourth Norris Peters contract of 8 January 1915 there would be 15,000,000 notes, with serial letters G and G-GLG papers, 6-C-62, letter from Navarro, Washington, to de la Garza, El Paso, 20 December 1914. G-G because the numbering machine could only manage 9,999,999 numbers, the next batch of notes were in fact Series L, with the plates altered to JUNIO 1915, and possibly printed in Chicago under a 22 March 1915 contract. There were probably the maximum possible 9,999,999 notes (highest recorded number is 9740468).
Most of these had Type 8, 9, 11 or 12 controls with a red scalloped Tesorería seal. Some lacked a date.
