Gobierno Provisional de México Mexico $100 notes
These are Series F and dated 28 September 1914. They had imprint 'MEXICO OFICINA DE GOBIERNO', title ' EL O. M. ENCARGADO DE LA SRIA. DE HACIENDA', and underprint Type 1.
Some notes had a typo of 'septiembre de 1914'.
Some notes were revalidated in accordance with the Convention's decree of 17 December 1914 with the legend 'REVALIDADO / por decreto de 17 de diciembre de 1914' on the face and a red round 'E.U. MEXICANOS - TESORERIA GENERAL DE LA FEDERACION' on the reverse. These includes some notes that had already been issued (such as 223197 illustrated below) and others that were revalidated before issue.

More work is required on distinguishing between the various colours of the background and the tints of the Secretaría seal.
On 15 May 1916 a large quantity of $100 notes that had never left the Oficina Impresora del Timbre were burnt in the Oficina in the presence of Rafael Nieto, Nicéforo Zambrano, Alberto J. Pani and other dignitaries. There were 40 packets of 500 sheets of eight notes each, 18 packets of 500 sheets of four notes each, and a packet of 10 sheets of eight notes each, a total of 196,080 notes with a value of $19,608,000. It is not known whether these were Mexico City or Veracruz, or whether they has already been numberedEl Demócrata, Tomo III, Núm. 524, 16 May 1916.
