Counterfeit $1 Veracruz notes

In its notification the Jefatura de Hacienda in Puebla said that the first consignment that it had received from the Tesorería de la Federación was all of the $1 denomination. For counterfeit notes the red seal on the reverse was poorly printed with bad white lettering and the ‘waves’ that surround it.

The only other reference to a counterfeit $1 note is one with the number smooth on the face and ornate on the reverse.
