$1 sábanas
The sequence of printing appears to have been as follows. However, we should note that these notes were printed three or four to a sheet, so it will need something like the work of Robert Perigoe on the Estado de Sonora notes to distinguish between the different plate positions and so explain, for example, 'No.' and 'No.' or different Tesorería General seals.
First, 'SERIE C' (as the third value in the original issue) with two small or two large numbers. It is presumed that, unless they were both used at the same time, small numbers preceded larger numbers and were replaced for the sake of legibility.

Then the serial letter 'C' was removed, and the numbering was 'No.' small number, large number. Presumably the series C was omitted as it had already been used.

Finally, the printer's imprint was placed inside the frame. Notes are known with one small and one large letter or two large letters. 'No.' is sometimes in italics. This was not necessarily because of different printings but the result of the several different positions on printing plates.

Resellos
The $1 sábanas was not usually revalidated. However, resellos are known from the Inspección General de Policia in Toluca, who was a dab hand in restamping, and a few other offices. Morelia also stamped 25c sábanas so the acceptance of Villistas currency might have been especially unusual or difficult in that more distant region.
