El Banco de Salvatierra

This is not paper money, but included because of its title and appearance. It promises the holder one peso in its Oficina de la de Kermesse (Festival Office) and carries the name of three local dignatories as supposed Interventor, Presidente and Gerente.

The Festival was no doubt related to Benito Soriano's refurbishment of the centre of Salvatierra (introducing electric lighting and building the bandstand) when he was Jefe Político in 1907.
