By 1 July 1901 $1,420,000 had been authorised by the Secretaría de Hacienda but of this $321,000 in $100, $500 and $1000 notes was still held by the Interventor because the bank did not have sufficient collateral to issue theminforme of interventor José Ignacio Icaza, 1 July 1901 in Memoria de las Instituciones de Crédito, 1901. By 30 June 1906 $2,400,000 had been authorised, but $220,000 was held by the Interventor.

Incinerations

By 30 June 1906 $51, 235 in notes had been withdrawn and incinerated. During the first half of 1907 3,456 notes with a total value of $69,915 were incinerated. On 31 October 1903 $4,290 were incineratedinforme of Interventor José Ignacio Icaza, 2 January 1904 in Memoria de las Instituciones de Crédito, 1903.
